Google and Meta ads for restaurant bookings
Choose the right campaign role, account structure, creative and booking measurement for European restaurants.
← All resourcesGoogle and Meta solve different parts of restaurant demand. A useful plan gives each channel a clear role and measures whether attention becomes meaningful guest action.
Start with restaurant-owned accounts
The restaurant should retain ownership of its Meta business assets, ad account, Google Ads account and billing. PRENIO or another partner can work through controlled access that is simple to remove later.
Use Google for active intent
Search campaigns can capture people looking for the restaurant, cuisine, occasion or location. Separate branded and discovery demand, keep location targeting realistic and send visitors to the page that answers their query.
Use Meta to create and refresh demand
Meta can introduce atmosphere, dishes, events and offers before a guest begins searching. Short, authentic creative and clear geographic targeting usually matter more than complicated audience stacks.
Match creative to the booking page
The promise in the ad must continue on the landing page. Keep menu, location, availability and booking action clear, especially on mobile. Slow or confusing pages waste media budget.
Track the full funnel
Record landing-page views, booking starts and completed reservations with consent-aware analytics. Use consistent campaign parameters and, where possible, connect reservation source and cover data.
Optimise with business context
Do not optimise only for cheap clicks. Compare cost per qualified booking action, party size, service period and cancellation behaviour. Pause activity that creates attention without useful restaurant demand.
